Who we are
Factonation is operated by Alpha Spare Parts Co., Ltd., a Bangkok-based company building the technical infrastructure for Thai industrial automation.
Our team is small and engineer-led. We don't resell products we haven't tested. Every PLC, HMI, and servo on our site has been wired up, programmed, and documented in-house — and that documentation is published openly for our customers to use.
We serve machine builders, system integrators, factory maintenance teams, and engineering students. They come to us not just for hardware, but for answers — wiring diagrams, sample programs, troubleshooting guides, and online courses they can complete on their own time.

Quality first
We don't add a product to the catalog until we've used it ourselves. If we wouldn't trust it on a customer's production line, it doesn't ship from our warehouse.
Open knowledge
Our 167 technical articles, wiring diagrams, sample PLC programs, and engineering tools are all free. We believe well-informed customers buy more, and stay longer.
Engineer-first
Our website is built by an engineer for engineers — typed product specs, real datasheets, 3D CAD models, configurators that produce wiring diagrams. No fluff.

We write tutorials, record videos, and produce wiring diagrams in Thai for every product line we carry. This is content the customer would otherwise have to search for in English on poorly-organized vendor sites.
Configurator and tool integration
Our PLC system configurator, servo sizing calculator, Modbus simulator, CAN simulator, and label designer can all be extended to support new product lines — making your hardware easier to spec into a real project.
E-learning courses
Paid online courses with quizzes and verified certificates. We can produce a course around your product line so engineers learn to use it properly, not just buy it.
University channel
Active relationships with top Thai engineering schools mean the next generation of automation engineers learns on the products we carry. Designing your brand into the curriculum is a long game we already play.
Real-world feedback loop
We use the products we sell. Bugs, missing features, documentation gaps — we surface them quickly and bring them back to you, not after a year of customer complaints.
What we're looking for
We're selectively expanding the catalog and have existing agreements with several of the brands we already carry. We won't publicly list the categories we're shopping for — but if you make industrial automation hardware and the criteria below sound like you, we'd like to talk.
Quality tier you'd specify yourself
We compete on reliability and engineering support, not on being the cheapest. Bottom-tier OEM rebrands won't fit our customer base.
Real documentation in English
We can translate, write tutorials, and produce content — but the source material has to exist. If your manual is one PDF in low-resolution Chinese, we'll struggle.
Willingness to invest in the long term
Exclusive or semi-exclusive arrangements work best. We commit time and content production budget; in return we want the relationship to last.
Stable supply
Lead times we can plan around. Sudden EOLs that strand our customers are the fastest way to lose us as a partner.

Product brands we carry
Our anchor product line is Samkoon — full PLC, HMI, Servo, and VFD coverage backed by tutorials, configurators, and complete Thai-language documentation. We carry additional brands across sensors, motion, and power, but we don't list partner names publicly until we've built the same level of content depth around their products.
Academic partners
We work with Thailand's top-tier engineering universities — including King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) — through curriculum support, lab equipment, and student projects. These are the schools that train the engineers your products will be specified by ten years from now.
