To cut the selected content to the Windows clipboard, use one of the following methods:
Click the "Cut" button in the "clipboard" section of the "Edit" menu ribbon.
Press the Ctrl+X shortcut key combination.
Right click on the program editor (ladder diagram/instruction list/function block diagram/function block), and then select the "Cut" command from the context menu.
Right click a node in the Engineering Explorer and select the 'Cut' command from the context menu to cut the engineering data unit.
You can cut any data from one PLC program and paste it into another program. Require consistent storage location of data.
1.1. Explanation
The 'Cut' function can only be used after selecting the data to be cut. The selected content is an object that has been cut and saved to the Windows clipboard.
The following data can be selected and cut in the project:
Programs in ladder diagrams/instruction lists/functional block diagrams. Require program segments to be continuous.
Editable elements in the Engineering Resource Manager.
